Family time!

We have been having so much fun with Dylan in town. Carl and Dylan are at the age where they can finally communicate, which leads to some arguments over who plays with what. Carl has had to give up his beloved scooter, and Dylan has given up her beloved "big boo." Some tears were shed but all was fine at the end. I have been busy getting everything ready for Christmas, but having too much fun with everyone in town. Here is a fun picture that HAS to tie you over till the revamp of the blog, and until all the pictures are downloaded! Lots coming this new year!

Crafting..

For those of you that know me best, you know I LOVE to Craft, sew, color... all the artsy stuff. Well I found some great project through blogs that I have been looking at, and in the last few weeks I have found so many, that I don't remember where I got these from. So if you are reading and want credit. You deserve it! So First craft....I started with these materials.....

I made Coasters. And some of you may be getting these for Christmas presents, so I didn't post too many close ups!

Thankful

In the midst of my "revamp" I decided to take a time out to tell you all what I am thankful for...

Tis the season....

I am thankful for, my amazing and hottie hubby, my handsome, talented, smart, loving, children, my great neighbors, my strong loving mom, my daddy, my wonderful inlaws, my health, my beautiful than ever Sister, my sweet niece, and my supportive friends. Thanks to all of you that have made me who I am.

And a special thanks to all you fellow bloggers out there that inspire me so.

Sorry to all those (3) people that read my blog. I havn't been that good at it lately. We have been doing well, just getting over Halloween, and getting on with Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our biggest thing we have been doing is potty training. Which is 'loads' of fun! Ha! Carl is doing really really well at it though. He is going in the potty EVERYTIME. That is when he isn't going outside, and when he doesn't have a diaper on. But when he has a diaper on he can't be bothered with the potty, becuase he has one strapped to him! And today he took a dump in the yard. That was fun to clean up. Other than that, he is doing well.

We have been crafting lately, so I will be posting pictures soon.... Have a great week!

Halloween fun!

Halloween was fun this year. It was the first year that Carl got the idea that Trick or Treating means candy. So he wanted to be James for Halloween, (from Thomas and Friends) and off to the Keiki parade we went. After the Parade we have a party with my play group, even Chris came along. Then we went to trick or treat! And it started raining. I love when it rains on Halloween. Thanks Lynn for taking pictures, my camera is in need of fixing! Happy Halloween!

Dirt bike!

So this last Saturday we went to watch Chris and Shiloh at the track... and well Carl wanted to ride too! Get out his helmet and Chris took him for a slow ride around the parking lot. Carl was in heaven with all the dirt bikes around. And we all got really really dirty! Lots of fun!

How much I have changed!

As you all know I love Halloween! I wanted to post the last two years and see for yourself how much Carl has changed! Happy Halloween and Happy Birthday to me!

Carl was "Boss Frog" in 2007, and then 2008 a Pumpkin!

I looked forever to find a pumpkin (Maui remember) that he can fit in, and this is as close as it got! Now check the previous post to see how big he is now... and wait for updates to this years costume!

Pumpkin patch time 09

Well I don't post often, sometimes I forget! Carl is doing really good. He is talking so much (I wonder where he gets it from). This morning he talked to me for an hour straight! But he had a good nap this afternoon.

Anyway we went to the pumpkin patch yesterday upcountry, and well it wasn't as fun as all the ones we visited last year, but Carl had a blast! Look how big he is getting!

Blackberry Pie

So there are a lot things I love about Grandma's house. (My grandma) and one of them is Blackberry pie! I love to pick them, I love to eat them, and I love the pie for breakfast. Now it was Carl's turn

And finally making the pie. I love Blackberries! The locals don't, they are a weed in their yard, but in starting in August, and until it gets cold in November, they are yummy to eat. Here in Maui at the grocery store they are $6.99 for like 20 of them. Sheesh!

Freeman's Farm

So we had lots of fun on Freeman's Farm. Carl of course loves Farms, tractors, trucks, and big open fields. And of course animals. Freeman only has horses but that was fun.

Here is an old Barn that was built in the 1860's . They are restoring it.

Skagit County Fair

We had a fun time in Washington. Carl and I went out to visit my Grandma, and my mom was their also. We did lots of stuff. And wore everyone out! We went to this fun County Fair. And we are not used to the 4 h club activities. You know the city girl I am and all. I don't even know if Scripps had a 4 h club. Here Carl is on the train, and my mom and I were afraid that he wouldn't want to do it, but this picture is right before he said "by momma." with a little wave. Stinker!

We saw lots of animals. Turkeys, cows, sheep, chickens, ducks... After we saw this turkey, we were looking at Chicken Coups, and the lady at the booth asked if we had a chicken coup. Ha!

So things have been pretty crazy around here. Carl turned 2, we had Grandma Marilyn and Auntie Stephy here, and then after they left Aunty Judy came for a visit. So needless to say... Crazyness! Here are a few photos from Carl's party.

Well Barney still makes his daily showing at our house. And Carl's favorite thing is popcorn and Barney, on his brothers bed...

Things have been pretty busy around here, I got my wisdom teeth out this last week, and then this last Monday was Chris' birthday. We are also planning for Auntie Stephy and Grandma to come visit, and Carl is turning 2! So lots of planning and cleaning! We are also enjoying the two kitties. We finally named them. Vamp and Luna. However, one of them goes missing here and there, but turns up after a few days. Carl loves to torture them, but they keep coming back!

We got two new kitties this weekend. They are 6 weeks, and so stinking cute!!! We need help on names. I'm thinking bella, stella* (my fav), lulu, blu, (Stella, blu or bella, and lulu) Luna, Solei.. Any suggestions?

Boyer, Syreen marry

Freeman Boyer of Coupeville and Mary Syreen of Anacortes were married March 19, on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Harold Kilgore of the Church at Koloa beside a lagoon and grove of coconut palm trees on the grounds of the historic Coco Palms Hotel in Waipouli.The bride and groom exchanged leis in the Hawaiian custom. Mary wore a lei made of fragrant plumeria and Freeman wore a lei fashioned from the maile leaf, a tradition signifying of good luck. More good luck to the couple was bestowed by the blowing of the conch shell by the Rev. Kilgore.Entertainer Larry Rivera sang "And I Love You So" and "The Hawaiian Wedding Song."The couple spent a month on Kauai and Maui and are now at home on S. Eggerman Road in Coupeville.

Easter time!

Easter was busy this year. Carl did three easter egg hunts, and actually got the golden egg at the one at the ritz. He won a big easter basket with an airplane in it (which is him new favoriate thing) and a tone of candy we don't need.

The first time he saw the easter bunny. He even got to take home the carrot. Which he loves to eat! My stinker!!!

The Big Move

So we decided that it was time for Carl to be in his own room. Well actually he is in a room with Shiloh, but for four nights, its all Carl's. But it was no easy small task. First we had to clean Shiloh's room, and you wouldn't believe what we found under his bed, or behind his dresser. Candy... old candy. And keeping Carl away from it was a big task. Then after it was clean, then it was time to move the crib over... well first we had to take off the doors to our bedroom then the doors to Shiloh's room, then we had to take the crib apart. This took about an hour. Then putting it all back together. Did I mention we did this with Carl running around with a screw driver, and a hammer. So imagine him running around hitting the walls, me dropping the crib on Chris, and running after him. Then all of us laughing at Carl's cute laugh. Good times. Now its all about going through all his toys giving away and keeping some and then finding a place for them. All while we are trying to keep it so that Shiloh has his space to. That is the challenge. But Carl's first night in his own room, he did great.

He also had a friend come over today, and I told him to go show Keegan his new room, and he ran upstairs yelling "room, room" and pointing, then when we all walked in he started jumping and yelling "room,room." My stinker!!

Barney

Okay so its no secret that Carl loves Barney. In fact right now Chris and Carl are laying on the couch watching Barney together. I was a little worried at first that he was asking for Barney...(barneee), but after its over he says "all done." Well its more like hands up in the air that is his signal that he is all done. And then he moves on to something else. But it has been nice that I have been able to get something done in another room while he watches it. He doesn't like anything else but I am sure that will change.

Grandma is getting married

So as most of you that talk to me the most, know that my Grandma Mary is getting married today. She is marrying a nice man that she has known for years. This is exciting. Just thought you would like to know. When I get pictures I will post them.

Colorado Trip

We had so much fun in Colorado! The flights over were challenging because Carl is getting a lot more mobile, but Chris and Shiloh were a big help. Here are a few photos. These are from Steph, but I have a couple that I will post in the next day or so. Enjoy!
